Admission Overview

Bharath Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chengam, welcomes students from diverse backgrounds to be part of a dynamic and value-based learning environment. Admissions are open from LKG to Higher Secondary (+2), subject to availability of seats.

Admission Procedure

The admission process is simple, transparent, and parent-friendly to ensure a smooth enrollment experience for every student.

Parents can visit the school office or contact the admission desk to collect the application form.

Application Submission

The duly filled application form must be submitted along with the required documents.

Interaction / Assessment

Kindergarten students attend an informal interaction, while higher classes may have a basic assessment.

Admission Confirmation

Admission is confirmed after document verification, fee payment, and completion of enrollment formalities.

Eligibility Criteria

LKG Admission

The child must have completed the prescribed age as per school norms.

Classes I to IX & XI

Admission is granted based on previous academic performance and availability of seats.

Transfer Students

Students from other schools must provide valid Transfer Certificate and academic records.

Bharath MHSS

Required Documents

The following documents must be submitted at the time of admission:

  • Transfer Certificate (for classes I and above)
  • Birth Certificate (mandatory for all students)
  • Previous School Mark Sheets / Progress Report
  • Community Certificate
  • Conduct Certificate from previous school
  • Passport Size Photographs (2 copies)

Note: All documents should be submitted in original along with photocopies for verification.

Fee Structure

The school follows a structured fee system divided into three terms:

  • First Term (June – September)
    Fees should be paid on or before 10th August
  • Second Term (October – January)
    Fees should be paid on or before 10th November
  • Third Term (February – May)
    Fees should be paid on or before 10th February

Important Guidelines:

  • Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances
  • Parents are requested to adhere strictly to the payment schedule
  • Delay in fee payment may attract penalties as per school norms
